Seal of Biliteracy awarded

Greene County High School Spanish teacher Amy Van der Meer reports that nine students took the Seal of Biliteracy exam and all nine passed.

The Seal of Biliteracy encourages students to pursue biliteracy, honors the skills students attain, and can be evidence of skills that are attractive to future employers. Biliteracy refers not only to spoken language, but to written language as well. It was originated by California Together.

Students who completed and passed the Seal of Biliteracy exam in Spanish are (from left) Chris Viullalobos, Avery Bardole, Eliza Carlson, Makala Kafer, Alex Roberts, Luis Velazco, Andrea Grundon, Autumn Villebro and Lauryn Killion.
